Overview

Ticklet is designed to be a private, local-first routine app. We do not run a custom backend for Ticklet, do not require a Ticklet account, and do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.

Information You Create in Ticklet

Ticklet stores the routine data you enter, such as habit names, emojis, accent colors, ordering, and daily completion state. This data is stored on your device and is used only to provide the app's features.

iCloud Sync

If iCloud is available and enabled, Ticklet mirrors its app data to your private iCloud storage using Apple's iCloud services so your data can sync between your devices. This data is handled by Apple under your Apple ID and iCloud settings. Ticklet does not operate a separate server that receives or stores this data.

Analytics, Tracking, and Ads

Ticklet does not include third-party analytics, advertising, or cross-app tracking. We do not sell your data.

Import and Export

Ticklet may let you import or export your app data as a JSON file. Files you choose to export are controlled by you and may be stored wherever you save or share them.

Apple Services

Your use of Ticklet may involve Apple services, including iCloud, App Store downloads, device backups, diagnostics, or crash reporting managed by Apple. Those services are governed by Apple's privacy terms and your device settings.

Data Deletion

You can delete Ticklet data by deleting habits in the app, removing the app from your device, or managing app data in your iCloud settings if iCloud sync has been used.

Changes

If Ticklet's data practices change, this policy will be updated to describe the new behavior.
